The CVI32-4K DVR from Backstreet Surveillance offers advanced features such as H.265/H.264 video compression and AI coding for efficient storage. It supports HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS/IP video inputs and can handle up to 32 channels of IP cameras with a maximum bandwidth of 128 Mbps.
The DVR also includes perimeter protection and SMD Plus, an upgraded version of Smart Motion Detection, which uses deep-learning algorithms to accurately identify and filter out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, or bright lights.
In addition, it has human face recognition capabilities that can analyze gender, age, expressions, glasses, mustaches, and mouth masks for improved identification and recording. Please note that the Face Recognition feature may conflict with SMD Plus and Perimeter Protection.

Video Storage - Internal Hard Drive
The DVR does not require a hard drive to operate. However, the unit stores the recorded video footage on an internal hard drive which is sold separately. The drive(s) are installed, formatted and tested by our technical staff prior to shipping. No action on you part is needed other than turning the unit on. The size of the drive and the recording options determine the total number of days the system can store.
Recording multiple channels of HD video requires a hard drive that can keep up with the work load. Our Purple Series hard drives are design specifically for surveillance video recorders. They can keep up and stay up with the work load, assuring reliable smooth video recording at all times.

This DVR is fully compatible with cellular phones including I-Phone, Android and many others using RTSP.

Installation
Please be careful where you choose to install this unit. Consider this device a computer with hard drive. Do not install the unit where the temperature cannot be consistently maintained between 60 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit. If this guide line is not followed its likely you will experience premature failure.

All equipment is covered under a complete 5 year warranty from the date of delivery. During this time all products are guaranteed against manufacturing and operational defects.
