This FireKing 6-2552-C File Cabinet has a U.L. fire rating of one hour, making it comparable to other FireKing Lateral Fire File Cabinets. Its solid steel panels and fire insulation safeguard each drawer, and the insulation material has been rigorously tested for heat resistance under extreme conditions.
The file cabinet was subjected to extreme temperatures of 1700°F in a specialized burn chamber, while maintaining an interior temperature of 350°F, which is suitable for preserving paper documents. This level of protection is exemplified by the fact that paper ignites at temperatures of 451°F and above, demonstrating superior fire resistance.
The insulation material provides both water resistance and fire protection, ensuring that your files are safeguarded in the event of a fire. - Two-section insert - need one per drawer (two rows). Will hold 5" H x 9.75" W cards or checks.
- Three-section insert - need one per drawer (three rows). Will hold 5" H x 6.50" W cards or checks.
- Full depth card tray - two per drawer. This insert has sides and back so you can take out and move to another station then take back to the file cabinet. Each card tray will hold 5" H x 9" W cards or checks.

1-Year Limited Warranty:If a mechanical or operable part of a FireKing safe malfunctions or breaks down during normal use, FireKing International will at our option, repair or replace said part free for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Warranty excludes customer neglect or abuse, robbery attempt, burglary, vandalism or other criminal conduct, environmental factors (such as fire, water damage, wind), acts of God, lightning or power spikes or surges or modifications not made by FireKing. Any failure resulting in the use of unapproved lubricants, cleaning liquids or solvents and/or liquid spills are not covered under warranty.
Warranty service is available by contacting your retail seller, or by contacting FireKing International at 1-800-457-2424. FireKing International reserves the right to have its representative inspect any product or part to honor any claim, and to receive a purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase before warranty service is performed.
